Name change from “Senior Fellows” to “Global Atlantic Fellows”

Published on October 5, 2022

The Atlantic Institute has started using the term “Global Atlantic Fellows” instead of “Senior Fellows” when referring to Fellows who have completed their program. This name change follows extensive consultations with the program executive directors, the programs’ communications teams, and, most importantly, the Fellows who make up the Institute’s advisory group, the Global Atlantic Senior Fellows Advisory Forum.

“Global Atlantic Fellows” is felt to be a more inclusive term as the global community expands and evolves. It suggests that as well as being focused on your program, you have joined a global community intent on acting collectively.
