Deepa Mann-Kler appointed as interim Atlantic Institute XR Lead

Deepa Mann-KlerWe are delighted to announce that Deepa Mann-Kler has joined the Atlantic Institute team as our XR Lead, covering for Alice Wroe who is now on maternity leave.

Deepa is chief executive of Neon, the director of Belfast XR Festival and the executive producer for Virtual Production at Aura Studios. She is also an award-winning artist and a member of Euromersive and BAFTA Connect and a visiting professor in Immersive Futures at Ulster University. Her most recent achievements include The Metaverse & Me and Discover ME, which shares real life stories of people living with myalgic encephalomyelitis, chronic fatigue syndrome and long Covid. As a TEDx speaker and thought leader, Deepa regularly gives keynote talks on the intersection of storytelling, digital transformation, technical innovation, leadership, inclusion, ethics, bias, data, AI, design and creativity.
