Raise your voice on the topic of values and the brain
A call for papers from Bruce Miller:
I am delighted to invite you to submit a manuscript for a new article collection I am co-editing at Frontiers in Neurology on “The Neurobiology of Values.” We would like to include a wide range of voices from across the Atlantic community. The aim of the collection is to bring
together high-quality articles that focus on the importance of values and the brain. We seek to explore where values live in the brain and understand how they function and change with development, opportunity, and disease. You can learn more about the collection
here: www.frontiersin.org/research-topics/45140.
We welcome submissions from across the arts and sciences, including original research, reviews, perspective pieces, editorials, and more that capture the importance of training values in healthcare systems and in education. Authors can collaborate to present a topic from
different perspectives. The types of articles accepted and their formats are described here: www.frontiersin.org/journals/neurology/for-authors/article-types.
All research will be published Open Access to maximize access to the ideas. We also aim to put together a free eBook of all published manuscripts to provide an up-to-date and comprehensive overview of values, the brain, and our communities.
This collection is in collaboration with Frontiers in Neurology (IF 4.086, CiteScore 4.6). Please note that publishing fees are applied to accepted articles, but please do not let fees be a barrier to submission. You can reach out to our dedicated point of contact at Frontiers, Emma,
at [email protected] if you need help covering the fees. Or, if you prefer, you can reach out to me.
If you would like feedback on a manuscript’s suitability, I encourage you to submit an abstract (or a short outline of the manuscript) by Dec. 16, 2022. The deadline for manuscript submissions is Feb. 16, 2023.
If you are interested, please sign up at www.frontiersin.org/research-topics/45140. If you do not wish to participate but know someone who might be, please feel free to forward this invite to them.
On behalf of the editorial team,
